Purpose of Job:

Researches, develops, and implements competitive pricing programs for various market channels and products segments to appropriately price based on the relationship in price, volume, and long-term viability. Continuously monitors the market and competitor strategies to ensure pricing is in line to market conditions. Plans, directs, and facilitates all phases of the pricing strategy changes from inception through introduction into the marketplace.

Job Components:

• Lead or assist in strategic projects that include data analysis, market developments, and predictive analytics.
• Coordinate, analyze, and report on the competitive landscape of the aftermarket battery industry to understand trends, positioning, and regional differences.
• Analyze the tradeoff relationship in price and volume and its impact on overall profits and long-term viability.
• Analyze origination and portfolio statistics to identify pockets of risk or opportunity and to develop proactive strategies that assist in mitigating risk exposure or exploiting profit potential.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or other related fields which require significant analytical coursework.
• Ability to search and extract information from large databases and analyze conflicting and incomplete data to reach analytically-based conclusions.
• Analytical skills, with the ability to see implications and provide consultative solutions and recommendations.
• Proficient in the utilization of MS products (Excel, Word, PPT, and Outlook); Experience with SAP and Oracle/JD Edwards E-One is desirable.
• Experience with Tableau, Alteryx/SQL, Python/R preferred.

Work Environment:

• Limited to no travel
