About the role:
Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for a Warehouse Strategic Specialist position in West Fargo, North Dakota. The Warehouse Strategic Specialist manages the planning, organization and implementation of programs and processes related to the warehouse.

Job responsibilities will Include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing project processes and procedures related to the warehouse.
• Create and implement warehouse operational plan for short-term and long-term success.
• Create departmental metrics to measure the success of the department.
• Create processes to improve material movement within the plant, warehouse functions, cycle count programs, and other warehouse related projects.
• Supports new product launch activities for the warehouse.

Skill Descriptors:

• Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Extensive Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
• Analytical Thinking: Extensive Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

• Flexibility and Adaptability: Working Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.
• Influencing: Working Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.

• Managing Multiple Priorities: Working Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
• Relationship Management: Working Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

• Project Management: Extensive Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
• Requirements Analysis: Working Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
