The Turret Operator plays a vital role in our manufacturing process by operating turret punch press machinery to fabricate parts according to precise specifications. This position requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and mechanical proficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate turret punch press machinery to punch, cut, and form parts from various materials such as metal, plastic, or composite materials.
• Load materials into the turret punch press machine and adjust machine settings as necessary to achieve desired results.
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
• Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
• Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of turret punch press machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work for yourself and your colleagues.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred

Specialized Knowledge and Experience

• Previous experience operating shear machinery or similar equipment preferred.
• Strong Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand technical specifications and drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• No experience is required, but the successful candidates must have the mechanical aptitude to manufacture parts with high quality.
