Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily work and run schedules.
• Confer with operations or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, or requests for service
• Relay work orders, messages, or information to or from work crews, supervisors, or field personnel, using telephones or two-way radios.
• Record and maintain files or records of requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, or other dispatch information.
• Prepare pay applications for construction review.
• Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required, according to work orders or specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Construction Industry experience required, plus 5+ years' experience in a trucking / dispatch environment.
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled in verbal and written communication
• Knowledge of construction equipment preferred
• Knowledge of construction scheduling processes and production time management preferred
• Able to plan, prioritize, organize and monitor activities and projects
