What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a skilled analyst to focus on Transportation/ Supply Chain initiatives through the use of data and analytics.

What you'll do:

• Duties include heavy analysis, integration, and coordination of various elements in assigned problem areas supporting Transportation.

• Executes the "day to day" reporting and metrics for Transportation

• Maintain and improve Transportation/ Logistics related reports using Business Intelligence software for distribution to clients and key stakeholders

• Develop new processes and procedures to deliver value-added analytical services to support management decision making process

• Develop and recommend alternate solutions derived from analytics to present to senior level management and key stakeholders.

• Executes cost and profit modeling through the use of existing capacity planning tools.

• Maintain report distribution lists and schedules.

• Builds relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure Transportation strategies support company goals while meeting customer expectations.

What you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, or comparable work experience
• Advanced level Excel skills
• Knowledge or experience with PowerBI and/or programming language at any level (beginner to advanced)
• Understanding of data analysis, supply chain, and transportation preferred

What you're good at:

• Highly analytical: critical-thinker; strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail; problem solver

• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at many levels of the organization.

• Strong data management skills, Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Ability to prioritize work, identifying potential delays and implementing solutions before they occur.

• Ability to manipulate large datasets and provide innovative insight to team members and management

• Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and have the ability to learn quickly and work under pressure.

• Must have a high mathematical aptitude and basic understanding of statistical modeling

• Motivated: enthusiastic; strives for excellence; continually seeks to improve self and company; ability and strong desire to grow with the company; leads by example

• Other job duties as assigned by management
