About the job

As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, developing, maintaining and improving all company export procedures, & systems for Alfa Laval Inc. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall success and growth of our organization. Currently, this is a Hybrid opportunity located in Greenwood, Indiana

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Identify potential areas of import compliance risk within the organization; work with management to evaluate, investigate, and resolve/mitigate the potential risk.
  • File import documents per the US customs regulations and internal procedures & maintain all record keeping
  • Additional Empowered Official for AL to deal with Government Agency inquiries.
  • Assist with managing all government licenses renewals including ITAR, and USML
  • Maintain and update AL's ECCN database.
  • Act as a vital member of the Alfa Laval trade compliance team
  • Ensure post entry compliance audits are completed according to procedures.
  • Retrieve import documents from third party billing company.
  • Assist with the AL Duty Drawback program and Reconciliation program as needed.
  • Use data analysis techniques to present new business opportunities to the organization
  • Align with other AL locations to ensure they are meeting recordkeeping requirements

What you know:

You have a high school diploma or GED with relevant experience, and:

  • 5 years experience with export compliance, import operations and logistics preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
  • Data Analysis Skills
