EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology) is looking for a temporary Test Technician - 2nd shift, to join our team in our Leesburg, VA location! EIT is a Contract Manufacturer specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services and serves customers in the sectors of Industry, Communications, Aerospace, Defense and Healthcare.
Job Description/Functions:
The position of Test Technician is responsible for performing functional tests and/or calibrating production assemblies.
- Performs functional testing using written test procedures provide by Engineering and/or the customer
- Performs calibration of EIT proprietary products
- Performs basic troubleshooting on assemblies that do not pass tests
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent
- 2 years of related experience, preferred
- Basic Electronics and trouble-shooting skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable ISO processes
- Ability to work in a team environment
- High attention to detail
- Normal manufacturing environment
- Second shift: Monday - Thursday: 3:30 pm - 2 am
- Temp-to-hire position, minimum through the end of December 2024
