Volt is hiring for a Test Technician (Temporary) in Torrance, California.

As a Test Technician, you will:

• Operate standard tensile and fatigue test systems for material quality control and characterization.
• Perform system checks, periodic maintenance, and document all work performed per Divergent Manufacturing Execution System requirements.
• Accurately record data using Excel and related software applications.
• Assist in specialty R&D testing as needed and follow standard testing procedures precisely.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma, GED, or higher.
• Experience with basic hand tools and a careful approach with attention to detail.
• Competency in Excel and other Microsoft tools; familiarity with metal testing fundamentals and tensile testing is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site, lift/carry 30+ lbs., and climb staircases.

Work Environment:

• Factory setting, with 10% work time near moving mechanical parts.

Pay Rate: $23 - $25/hr.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
