Job Description:
Conducts repairs and modifications on all types of heavy equipment. Performs related work as required.

Participates in equipment operation to perform various types of land moving and leveling operations.

Uses transit to survey drainage areas and to set grade and slope stakes.

Preform all aspects of heavy equipment operation.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Eighth Grade education or equivalent plus three years experience in heavy equipment use and repair. Hold a valid driver's licensed.

Pay Range: 15.468 - 22.802

ENTRY KNOWLEDGES, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS REQUIRED: (Applicants will be screened for possession of these through written, oral, performance, and/or other evaluations.)

Knowledge of: land moving and leveling operations.

Skill in: Vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair; use of hand tools and power tools, use of various types of heavy equipment.

Ability to: work in all temperature extremes and preform manual labor such as snow removal, digging, installing silt fence etc.
