OVERVIEW:

As a member of the assembly team, you will build and inspect electro-mechanical assemblies used in leading edge sewer inspection equipment. You will do so, working efficiently while adhering to all facility safety guidelines and standards. Most electronic assembly will fall within light assembler classifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Production Worker

  • Assemble products and sub-assemblies per assigned work orders
  • Execute assembly and completed product testing
  • Conduct quality control inspections on finished goods
  • Prepare finished products for shipment
  • Work with team to sustain satisfactory working conditions within production area and maintain a clean and organized workstation (includes aspects of managing physical inventory and equipment)
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines relating to the production and handling of materials
  • Ensure production deadlines are met, maximizing performance to meet per piece turn times
  • Reports issues or problems within production, contributing to solutions while maintaining quality standards
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Circuit board level and/or small gauge wire solder and assembly experience
  • Ability to work within an environment emphasizing cross training and skill development
  • Demonstrate ability to interpret build instructions, gauges and monitors
  • Knowledge of function of hand tools and light assembly equipment
  • Attention to detail and understanding of quality control process and procedures
  • Works efficiently and manages time effectively
