Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Journeyman level Computer Systems Analyst position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

The top candidate will enhance our digital environment by developing and maintaining documentation for system configurations, business processes, and SOPs. You will create and update user guides, technical documentation, and other IT-related materials to support organizational systems.

Responsibilities include optimizing IMIT support services and improving business processes using DHA Enterprise Services like the Global Service Center, Microsoft Power Platform, and SharePoint. You will also streamline IM/IT support and automate business processes with Microsoft 365 tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online, and Teams.

Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and supporting the Information Assurance Manager in maintaining Group Policy and Active Directory are crucial. You will provide Tier III helpdesk support, troubleshoot technical issues, and interface with external helpdesk entities to resolve problems affecting organization personnel.

Job Requirements:

Skills / Experience Required

• 2+ years of customer support experience
• 2+ years of functional/technical IT support experience
• 1 year of experience managing Microsoft Group Policy
• Provide IT support both on-site and remotely
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and software
• Handle physical network tasks like replacing cables and identifying switch ports
• Support Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems: configuration, maintenance, scheduling, and meeting facilitation
• Ensure equipment/software meet Information Assurance (IA) requirements for ATO
• Support IA tasks: patching, reporting, POA&M, IA service accounts, and security scans
• Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager, Tanium, Splunk
• Familiar with PowerShell, Batch scripting, and Microsoft Power Platform
• Analyze and update helpdesk requests and knowledge base articles

Education / Certifications

• Meet DoD Manual 8140.03 certification and qualification requirements
• Possess a CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ Certification upon hire IAW DoDD 8140.01
• Complete 20 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) annually
• No Degree Required

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
