Primary functions will include writing, editing, researching, and data entry. Under the direction of the Patient Education Program Director, the Student Assistant will support the function of Health System Patient Education Department, including but not limited to editing content and metadata in the vendor content management tool; researching and developing content for materials; formatting content on department template; communication with clinicians; and research patient education tools available. Other duties depend on experience and qualifications.
50% Edit custom content and enter metadata in patient education vendor content management tool
35% Format custom content into patient education content in InDesign template
5% Communicate with clinicians and other staff regarding patient education projects
5% Research best practices and standards of care for patient education content
5% Other duties as assigned
