Strategic Account Manager - Georgia
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate must live within 50 miles of one of our Georgia Elevance Health PulsePoint locations listed on the requisition.
The Strategic Account Manager responsible for the growth and retention of existing dedicated account to include identification of new programs/products based on business size and scope.
How you will make an impact:
- Achieves retention and growth targets through expert execution of sales process.
- Cultivates deep trust-based relationships and develops comprehensive understandings of client needs and priorities.
- Acts as a consultative collaborative partner with consultants, and key decision makers.
- Develops strategic business plans to address consultant and/or client needs.
- Acts as primary customer contact.
- Coordinates with internal partners to exceed client expectations.
- Drives opportunities for additional growth and product sales.
- Be an industry and product expert at the local, state, and federal level; continuously updates knowledge in a rapidly changing environment.
- Provides consultative and strategic sales knowledge to VIP Client with a solid understanding of client and company objectives.
- Acts as a resource to team members and may assist with on-boarding of new sales associates.
- Dedicated position to VIP client with shared responsibilities with other Strategic Account Manager.
- Provides oversight of all product offerings of VIP client.
- Project and Time Management oversight
Minimum Requirements:Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 6 years of sales experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Sales license required where necessary.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
- Experience with office tools, cloud-based software, social media & collaboration tools strongly preferred.
- Experience working in the managed care/healthcare insurance industry strongly preferred.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and adaptability highly preferred.
- Experience interacting confidently with senior management and executive level stakeholders, as a subject matter expert and comfortable with influencing decision-making preferred.
- Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties strongly preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, MS Teams and Salesforce highly preferred.
- Independent worker but also be able to work within Team environment is highly preferred.
