RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant in Saint Louis, MO.Responsibilities:- Staff Accountant will review and post data entry to accounting software (experience with MIP/Abila is a preference)
- Perform account reconciliations and prepare workpapers for various general ledger accounts
- Prepare related journal entries for review
- Assist with account clean-up as necessary
- Record changes in and reconcile fixed asset records
- Other accounting support level duties as assigned
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare and enter monthly journal entries
- Prepare monthly client financial packages
- As a Staff Accountant, you will maintain balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain in-house platform and update internal processes for efficiency
- Analysis of financials - cash flow, actual to budget
- Special projects and other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proven ability within process improvement
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to work with others closely including coworkers, clients, and third parties
- Able to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- MIP/Abila experience is a preference
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
