In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and maintain innovative automation test suite for medical software applications.
- Implement Automation Frameworks, automation solutions, automation tools.
- Follow established best practices for automation software development standards and agile methodologies.
- Work collaboratively and proactively to maximize the success of the research and development teams.
- Setup test environment installing Windows Desktop Software for multiple different hardware and software configurations which may involve installing an OS, networking the PC, and connecting to instrumentation.
- Define Test Approach by collaborating with other testers, developers, and product owner.
- Draft, Execute, Review and Approve manual software test cases in HP ALM/ Azure DevOps or Automated Testing using Python in Test Complete and Azure DevOps.
- Document Verification Plan and Verification Summary report as needed during various phases of the project.
- Document software defects discovered using different types of testing across the different project phases.
- Investigate and troubleshoot software technical issues as they come up.
- Work in cross‐functional Agile Scrum project teams and actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies using Azure DevOps
- Estimate software testing tasks and provide input to project schedules
The essential requirements of the job include:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with: Test complete, Python, C# automation, SQL and Automation testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of technical principals, theories, and concepts in Software Development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming with familiarity of design and architectural patterns.
- Proficiency working with software development methodologies including Agile and Scrum using Azure DevOps.
- Experience working with code versioning tools including Git and SVN.
- Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, and strong collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate software and system design.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Continuous Integration experience (CI/CD).
- Experience developing regulated medical device software that strictly adheres to design controls and quality management system requirements (FDA CFR 820, ISO 13485)
- Experience with .Net/Delphi windows/desktop application development.
