Summary of role
In this role, as an SR Human Resources Business Partner (SRHRBP), you will report to the Director of Human Resources, US. You will support the management and HR team in providing HR services within the US. This position will work with the local management team to identify and deliver people solutions and development that drive effective business results and raise organizational performance by aligning initiatives to strategic business goals.
The SRHRBP is a trusted advisor/consultant to the Director while part of a wider global team supporting the development and implementation of people-related initiatives and systems. You will actively participate in talent development, employee engagement, recruitment support, employee relations, and performance management. This hands-on role assists the Director of Human Resources, US, in driving strategic initiatives at the site, increasing employee engagement, supporting the business, and evolving the culture.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop meaningful relationships with key people and teams across the organization.
- Assists with quality improvement initiatives as needed by working collaboratively with operations to identify, develop, and implement appropriate controls and when applicable corrective actions.
- Diagnoses organisational issues, using data to be more evidence-based in practice, provides strategic HR advice, and innovates solutions that significantly improve organizational effectiveness.
- Facilitates business relevant improvement solutions and processes supporting team performance, organisational redesign, and change management, meeting the evolving needs of the organization.
- Responsible, in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Partner, for recruitment activities to ensure timely placement of qualified and capable candidates whilst ensuring talent pipelines are built to support future growth.
- Support in the role-out of US and global company HR policies, programs and practices ensuring compliance with US employment laws.
- The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver valuable service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
- Acts as an employee champion, talent strategist, and change agent.
- Support and role model zero harm safety philosophy and practices; complying with and promote all HSE safety policies and procedures.
Requirements for the Role
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, Master's degree in Organizational Psychology or Business preferred.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a HR Generalist or HR Manager role.
- Experience managing others (hiring, managing performance, etc.) strongly preferred.
- Strong business acumen.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in ambiguous situations and adapt quickly to change.
