Job Description and Responsibilities

Tactica Solutions, LLC is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Special Security Representative (SSR) for the 116th Military Intelligence Brigade's military, civilian, and industry personnel. The SSR will execute a full range of security disciplines with a greater concentration on Personnel Security and MEAD processing. This is a mid-level Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) position performing primarily at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia requiring occasional travel.

Typical Job Duties and Tasks:

• Conducts Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrination briefings and debriefings
• Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) on all personnel security matters
• Liaises with INSCOM's Contractor Support Element (CSE) as needed
• Serves as a Trusted Agent for Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) user enrollments
• Performs daily tasks within the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Army Centralized Contracts and Security (ACCS) portals
• Processes System Authorization Access Request (SAAR) on a daily basis
• Verifies security clearances and "need-to-know" prior to granting access to classified information and supporting systems
• Provides guidance and recommendations to the customer on SCI security matters
• Participates in Organization Inspection Program (OIPs) and conducts site visits to subordinate battalions
• Supports the development and implementation of security training and education programs
• Subject to being "on call" for emergency response and irregular events that require security oversight
• Assists in the development of command security policies and standard operating procedures
• Performs additional tasks as directed by the Special Security Officer (SSO) consistent with the scope of work

Compensation Minimum: $75,000

Compensation Maximum: $85,000

Job Requirements:

Requirements

Required Education and Skills:

• Must be a United States citizen
• At least three (3) years of experience as a former SSR, Assistant Facility Officer, Security Specialist or higher security position such as SSO, FSO, or Security Manager
• Current familiarity with 32 CFR, part 117 (NISPOM rule)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) 704 and 705
• Ability to articulate the requirements of IC Tech Spec- for ICD/ICS 705

Required Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and willing to submit to Counter-Intelligence Scope Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• MEAD (Military External & Affiliates Division) packet processing
• General knowledge of personnel security (PERSEC), physical security (PHYSEC) and information security (INFOSEC) procedures within a SCIF environment
• Working knowledge of the National Background Investigation Service (NBIS) electronic application(eAPP)
• Knowledge of access control systems, intrusion detection systems, closed-circuit television, and lock and key control procedures
• Two (2)+ years of college-level education

Physical Requirements:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position requires typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, kneeling, and climbing ladders to complete duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
