Shipside Operations Specialist 2

Contract Position

Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities across limited functions to coordinate resolution of emergent shipside issues in support of specific operations.
• Provide limited feedback on assessment results. Assist team members in implementing strategies and plans.
• Assist with updating tracking and visibility tools.
• Communicate status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability.
• Analyze problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts, materials and tools to maintain inventory and system accuracy.
• Identify and solve problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
• Coordinate with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
• Work under general supervision.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Previous company experience required.
• Experience with the following systems: Velocity, REDARS - Engineering Information Delivery, Product Standards
• Data System (PSDS), Integration Visualization Tool (IVT)
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 1+ years of experience w/operations analysis.
• 1+ years of experience w/root cause analysis.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in Project Management
