Position Overview/Responsibilities for the ServiceNow Administrator:

• Performs advanced (senior-level) systems administration work in ServiceNow. Work involves coordinating the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of the platform. Supports and configures modules (CMDB, Change management, Incident & Problem management, Service Catalog) and other updates for the platform. Works under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
• Independently initiate, develop, and lead the implementation of best practices, standard operating procedures, and processes for IT service management. Define, implement, measure, and review metrics for IT services that result in continuous efficiency, quality, and systems management improvements.
• Coordinates and/or develops operating procedures for technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and innovative systems administration techniques.
• Enter, manage, train others, and provide oversight on IT support tickets within the IT service management system. Record problem symptoms, provide and document updates and resolution for incidents, service requests and support root cause analysis.
• Defines and manages the roles and access privileges of ServiceNow. Works as part of a team to create ITSM processes & procedures for the larger IT organization. 
• We're looking for this candidate to perform day-to-day ServiceNow administration for a relatively new implementation and support (not lead) a project to deliver an expanded implementation of ServiceNow. While the ServiceNow platform will replace an existing IT service management platform from Ivanti, it is essentially a green field implementation as we’re not looking to migrate or duplicate what was implemented previously.

Required Skills for the ServiceNow Administrator:

• 6+ years’ experience as a ServiceNow Administrator
•  6+ years’ experience working knowledge of ServiceNow modules and applications
• ServiceNow certification
