Seeking to hire a Senior Project Manager to work on an excellent variety of mixed commercial interior construction projects in the DC area. This general contractor has an incredibly strong pipeline of Government and mixed Commercial in within the DC beltway and are looking to hire Senior Project Managers with new and renovation construction commercial experience to join them on this journey! Your new role:

As a Senior Project Manager in their construction department, you will be site-based working alongside an established and successful field and project management. You will be reporting into a Project Executive. If you are passionate about people leadership, there is the opportunity here to lead a team.

You will be responsible for running the project management program for your assigned projects, working closely with the field management team. Project budget and financial tracking, scheduling, construction documentation, quality control and client POC will all fall under your/PM teams' responsibility. You will have the support of APMs and be tasked with developing their skill set into a Project Manager as you help develop the department.

What you need to succeed:

• 8-14 years of Construction experience working for a commercial construction general contractor.
• Ideally you will have experience in working on local government, public construction projects including education but any commercial construction experience will be considered.
• A construction related degree such as engineering, architecture or construction management is desired but not essential.
• This is an on-site position on a construction site, likely in the Northern Virginia area so candidates will need to be local and be comfortable to a daily commute.
