Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Java Developer for a W2 roles

Job Description:

• As a Senior Java Developer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our client's technology platform.
• You'll design, build, test, and maintain backend components for scalable eCommerce and merchandising applications.

What You'll Need:

• Modern Libraries & Tools: Familiarity with the latest libraries and tools.
• Java Skills: Strong programming skills in Java and understanding of data structures.
• Azure Technologies: Experience with Azure-based technologies.
• Microservices: Proficiency in microservices architecture and development.
• Spring Framework: Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Security, and core Spring features like Dependency Injection and Aspect-Oriented Programming.
• Databases: Knowledge of SQL (e.g., Postgres, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, Cosmos).
• Messaging Systems: Experience with Kafka and Azure Event Hub.
• RESTful APIs: Proven ability to build and understand RESTful APIs.
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with tools like GitHub, Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, Harness, Terraform, and writing unit/integration tests.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Initiative: Self-starter with the ability to deliver quality work under pressure.
• Team Player: Ability to work well within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Applications: Build backend eCommerce and merchandising applications using on-prem and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate: Work with designers and product managers to refine and implement product designs.
• Full-Stack Collaboration: Partner with full-stack engineers to develop and deploy features.
• Best Practices: Identify and uphold engineering best practices.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor application performance, address usability issues, and ensure smooth operation.
• Code Review: Review code and plan future API upgrades with the development team.
