** This role isnoteligiblefor100% remotework. Employees must live within a commutable distance of the Bay Area and must be willing to be onsite at the client and/or Slalom office up to 5 days a week.**

What You'll Do

Our industry client leaders work shoulder to shoulder with Slalom customers as trusted partners.. They understand their client's strategies and objectives, environment, and industry. They are focused on and deeply understand their client's strategies, objectives, environment, and industry. They proactively identify ways to bring more and accelerate outcomes through the full suite of Slalom services and offerings. Client leaders are also accountable for shaping delivery teams to serve customers and for delivery excellence through these engagement teams. As a leader in the market, the client leader is an ambassador of Slalom, exemplifying our core values through interactions with customers, consultants, partners and the community we live and work in.

  • Drive for Results- Demonstrate a relentless focus on realizing customer value through a comprehensive account strategy, entrepreneurial business development, customer experiences and delivery excellence. Lead and develop high performing account and engagement teams to deliver high-impact solutions in technology, strategy, and business transformation. Maintain your own domain expertise and understand and bring Slalom service offerings and technology partners to your customers.
  • Industry Leadership- Demonstrate deep understanding of industry trends, value drivers, technology needs and opportunities for transformation. Contribute to the Slalom brand by making connections through knowledge capital, industry conferences and focused marketing efforts. Actively contribute to the growth and development of consultant industry knowledge through training and mentoring.
  • Account Management - Lead the development of customer account strategies and go-to-market plans. Responsible for the sustained growth and financial health of Fintech accounts.
  • Relationship Management - Effectively connect and drive meaningful dialog with your existing and new CXO level relationships. Inspire long-term trust in Slalom and your team.
  • Own direct revenue responsibility of $12.5m+.
  • Manage individual billable utilization target of 25% and support overall team utilization goals.
  • Take on a relevant market-level initiative leadership role.
What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of leadership experience within consulting focused in the financial technology sector, including financial institutions and fintech startups.
  • Creative solutions to the most complex challenges affecting fintech clients.
  • Northern California based network within fintech
  • Understanding of traditional Front, Middle and Back-office processes, tech, and operations
  • Prior experience collaborating with some strategic partners including AWS, Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, Google to develop client solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering high impact consulting services, including scoping, staffing and executing work, proven direct revenue responsibilities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate for outcomes with peers and leaders outside of your direct reporting line.
  • Adaptability of skills - continuing to learn and grow according to market and industry needs.
  • Functional and technical domain expertise outside of industry.
  • Consistent track record of client and employee satisfaction.
  • Experience building, developing and leading teams, building community, and mentoring other account leaders/client partners.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to fintech.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $225,000-359,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
