RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an exciting opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a innovative team that will enhance deployment practices, repeatability, and security. Summary:The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for creating plans, collaborating with fellow DevOps team members, and coordinating with software engineering and business teams. These high-visibility projects aim to boost service levels, reduce costs, and accelerate feature delivery. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will develop robust monitoring and alerting systems for issues like application errors and high memory usage. They will also be implement log aggregation strategies to facilitate quick access to logs for troubleshooting or generating trend analysis reports.REQUIREMENTS:
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer) required
- 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience managing AWS infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- 3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD
- Strong software engineering or programming background, preferably with Python, C#, or .NET
- Experience with standard monitoring and alerting tools
- Proficiency with Docker, EKS, and microservice architecture
- Proficiency with log aggregation tools
- Experience in architecting and deploying advanced cloud infrastructures within AWS
- Solid understanding of web services, databases, and related infrastructure/architectures
- Solid understanding of backup/restore best practices
- Experience releasing software tools
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication, and documentation skills
- Demonstrable experience with cloud security fundamentals
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
