As the Engine Installation and Cooling Specialist for Hydraulic Mining Shovels (HMS), you'll be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge engine and cooling components onto HMS platforms. This role isn't just about fitting parts; it's about pioneering the future of mining technology!
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovative Research : Dive into the latest materials and competitive products. Lead the charge in organizing, coordinating, and executing the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes.
- Supplier Collaboration : Work closely with supply specialists and buyers to develop and enhance supplier performance. Oversee the efforts of drafting and testing specialists to ensure top-notch quality.
- Design and Development : Transform functional requirements into detailed design documents. Participate in buy-build analysis to ensure the best components are used.
- Proposal and Cost Analysis : Support proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports to drive project success.
What You'll Need: - A degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- A passion for innovation and a knack for solving complex problems.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with teams based in Tucson, India, Batam, and Peoria.

What skills you will have: Technical Excellence: Knowledge of engines, product design, and engineering processes; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Computer-Aided Design & Engineering: Knowledge of tools and techniques of specialized graphics programs; ability to produce, analyze, simulate and test product design drafts.
Product Design - MFG: Knowledge of processes, approaches, tools and techniques of product design; ability to convert customer and market requirements into product design.
Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.
Top Candidates will also have: Experience with engine installation and cooling, familiarity with HMS systems.
Additional Information: The primary location for this position is Tucson, AZ.
Domestic relocation assistance is available.
Light travel (5%) to Batam or customer sites should be expected.
