As a Senior Design Engineer in the Building Construction Products division (BCP) Operator Station System team you will be responsible for developing proof of concepts and executing fully validated designs that are simple, consistent, intuitive, cost effective, and customer preferred solutions. You will engage product engineering and commercial teams to scope and implement new designs.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement new product designs.
  • Perform cab components system integration to drive consistency and preferred customer solutions across BCP products.
  • Manage design requirements and communicate design progress to the product group and cross functional teams.
  • Collaborate with the global teams and internal process partners on technical, commercial, and program issues.
  • Understand customer requirements and manage program deliverables.
  • Perform complex analysis work to identify design and process risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Support continuous product improvements.
What You Have (Basic Qualifications):
  • B.S. in an accredited Engineering program (Mechanical, Agricultural, Electrical, or Materials Science).
  • Progressive and extensive experience in product development and engineering work experience required.
  • Good working knowledge of product development methods and design for manufacturing.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, ensuring seamless execution and optimal results.
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous product improvement, issue investigation, root cause analysis, and production support.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and deliver results under challenging design constraints of quality, cost, and timeline.
  • Effective written and oral communications with internal and external partners to convey technical information in a professional manner with impact.
Top Candidates Will Have :
  • M.S. in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency in Creo and utilizing Teamcenter Engineering to release product designs.
  • Good mechanical aptitude with ability to develop product design concepts.
  • Have understanding and experience of stampings, fabrications, and non-metallics components designs and manufacturing processes.
  • Applied knowledgeable and understanding in GD&T.
  • Ability to work well within a fast-paced team environment while managing complex projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to network and establish collaborative relationships within the workgroup, internal process partners, supply chain and external customers.

  • Domestic relocation is available to those who qualify.
  • Ability to travel as required to foreign and/or domestic locations (10%).
