CobbFendley is seeking a Senior Contracts Specialistin our Frisco, Texasoffice.

The successful candidate’s most important qualifications include:
  • Eight (8) years of administrative, or related, experience.
  • Four (4) years of contract review in architectural/engineering industry, preferred.
  • Experience with commercial insurance, preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality, grammatically correct work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills; ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam, and strong technical skills.
  • Motivation to work in a dynamic environment with strict deadlines, and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Commitment to perform responsibilities consistent with industry standards to achieve department and company goals.

Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for daily incoming contract review requests; provide redlines, facilitate negotiations, and coordinate signature process.
  • Responsible for filing and organization of contract documents.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers to ensure that negotiated content is included in contracts.
  • General assistance with contract/compliance questions from company employees and external clients and vendors.
  • Oversee subconsultant agreement process and review submitted redlines for approval.
  • Review RFQ/RFP documents to identify potential risks in contract language.
  • Oversee certificate of insurance request process, and review incoming certificates and endorsements for compliance with contract requirements.
  • Assist with vendor pre-qualification packets and contract form completion.
  • Facilitate communications with company employees and external parties to obtain and exchange information relevant to the contracting and approval process.
  • Perform independent research and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Complete necessary safety, IT, and related training modules.
  • Other miscellaneous operational, administrative, or risk management tasks as necessary.
  • Work in a collaborative team environment and deliver an accurate work product.
  • Adhere to CobbFendley’s safety standards to uphold a safe and efficient environment.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and fulfill responsibilities with integrity.
Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Mobility within the office including movement between floors and workstations.
  • Repeated motions (e.g., typing, reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying).
  • Verbal and electronic communication with other employees and clients.
Environmental Factors:
  • Most work is performed in a professional office environment.
  • Extended use of electronic devices (e.g., computers, printers, copiers, scanners, plotters, and telephones).
  • Use of cutting tools and equipment (e.g., plotting equipment, rotary paper cutter).
Expected hours of work:

  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
