Mass General Brigham Health Plan is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Scrum Master to join our dynamic Digital Product Team to help us improve lives with intuitive and exceptional technology. This role will enable our continued transformation from department-oriented technology development to people-centered and customer-led Agile product development practices to enhance the delivery of high-quality health solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundational understanding of Agile methodologies who is looking to grow their career in a transformative, supportive, and innovative environment. This will be the first role of this type in this organization. We are looking for someone who is excited to collaborate, coach, and influence the organization towards a better way of working.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Facilitate Scrum Events: Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Backlog Management: Assist the Associate Digital Product Manager in managing the product backlog, ensuring clarity and prioritization of tasks.
Team Support: Help the team remove impediments that block progress and foster a collaborative environment.
Promote Agile Practices: Encourage adherence to Agile best practices, fostering continuous improvement within the team.
Communication: Act as a liaison between the development team, business stakeholders, and Digital and Customer Experience Team ensuring clear and effective communication.
Metrics and Reporting: Track and communicate key Scrum metrics such as burndown charts and velocity to stakeholders and team members.
Training and Coaching: Provide guidance and support to team members new to Agile practices, promoting an Agile mindset across the team.
Process Improvement: Encourage the team to reflect on their processes and improve continuously.
Removing Impediments: Help the team remove any obstacles that are hindering their progress.
Spreading Best Practices: Share successful practices and innovations with other teams in the organization.
Tracking Progress: Help the team to track their progress through tools and metrics, like burn-down charts.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, or Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years working within an agile methodology and/or project management role.
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
• Familiarity with Agile Tools (i.e., Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)
• Scrum Master certification (SAFe Scrum Master, CSM, or PSM) is a plus but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with modern digital and design tools, techniques, and languages required.
