Baer is looking for an S/4 Public Cloud Professional Services Billing SME for a 9+ month project located in Tampa, FL or Dallas, TX

Title: S/4 Public Cloud Professional Services Billing SME
Location: Hybrid - Tampa, FL or Dallas, TX
Duration: 9 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2

Our client is currently in the 2nd phase of the world's largest deployment of SAP Public Cloud covering all North America based operations. The solution will replace a network of complex homegrown and SAP legacy system architecture across OTC, FIN and P2P process domains.

Description:

• Create detailed functional specifications for data conversions.
• Develop functional specifications for reporting requirements.
• Create and manage sales orders that reflect the actual costs incurred in projects.
• Translate business requirements into SAP functional documents.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth transition and minimal disruption.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing SAP projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of SAP modules, with a focus on SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and some knowledge in Financial Accounting (FI).
• Expertise in planning, coordinating, and executing cutover activities during SAP go-live.
• Experience in managing and mitigating risks associated with the cutover process.
• Strong knowledge and experience with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, including order-to-cash processes, pricing, billing, and shipping.
• Understanding of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) module, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Experience with revenue recognition processes in SAP is a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to provide training and support to end users and junior team members.
• Knowledge of RRB (Resource-Related Billing) solutions and their implementation within S/4 settings, preferably in conjunction with EPPM (Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional Services Industry experience required
Must obtain SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition - Professional Services C_S4CPS_2308 or already have
S/4HANA Cloud Finance Implementation C_S4CFI Certification.
