RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client of Kforce is seeking a Robotics Engineer for an exciting new program in wastewater system assessment in Warrendale, PA.Summary:We are looking for a talented Robotics Engineer who wants to make a significant impact in developing and deploying assessment technology. As a Robotics Engineer, you will contribute to designing, developing, testing, and deploying our new robotic and sensor systems. This individual will thrive in an environment requiring strong problem-solving skills, independent self-direction, and an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. They will work closely with the engineering team to efficiently execute design and development strategies and address issues before they reach our valued customers. The Robotics Engineer will also experience a fast-paced, innovative environment where needs and requirements can change rapidly. The ideal candidate will have experience with robotic and advanced sensor systems.REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with firmware development and deployment
- Experience with requirement gathering and acceptance criteria
- Strong conceptual and visual design skills
- Proficient in C, C++, and Python
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), ability to deliver messages concisely and
- Strong propensity to listen and ask the right questions of customers and the organization
- Ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships and influence at all levels of an organization
- Experience with control and vision-based processing is a plus
- Experience with web services software stack is a plus
- Working knowledge of ROS 2 is a plus
- Experience in industrial robotics is a plus
- Agile experience is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
