Job Summary

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, this position will operate robot cell controls to perform the assigned work orders and ensure the daily optimal workload is met while meeting product specifications. This role ensures the robotic cell continuously produces quality parts, runs efficiently, and observes to the robotic cell to detect malfunctions and defective materials. In conjunction with Maintenance, this role will also perform daily preventive maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Operates robot cell controls.
* Loads/unloads materials & parts into the work cell; positions and secures inserts as required for work order.
* Reads work orders, including the supplementing instructions, formulas, and/or processing charts.
* Responsible for maintaining work cell production logs.
* Measures and visually inspects products for defects to confirm adherence to product specifications using precision measuring tools.
* Maintains a working knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality & cost controls, and other techniques to maximize the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods.
* Assists with the operation of other machines as assigned.
* Responsible for following all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and daily equipment inspection; maintains safety logs of the assigned work area, and wears all PPE as required.

Working Conditions:

* Fast paced manufacturing environment where workers are exposed to both ambient/outside temperatures and dust; working with mechanical parts and pinch points; exposure to increased noise levels.
* Hours Worked: Up to 12-hour shift.

* Weekend Shift: 5:00am - 5:00pm Friday - Sunday
* Flexible to the possibility of overtime as required.

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

* Highly motivated with a good, sound work ethic.
* Able to safely operate a sit-down forklift - training will be provided if necessary; all production employees must complete CCM's forklift certification program regardless of previous experience.
* Must demonstrate safe working practices and possess great attention to detail.
* Ability to follow CCM's policies, procedures, and processes.
* Good communication, organization, and time management skills.
* Basic computer, mathematics, and problem-solving skills; ability to use a calculator.
* Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers).
* Team player able to follow instructions from both management and peers.
* Ability to learn and operate new equipment.

Education and Experience:

* High School diploma or equivalent is required.
* Minimum 2 years in a Manufacturing Setting, ideally with blueprint reading.
