Job Purpose:

The Senior Project Lead, Supply Chain Operations, will oversee and drive critical supply chain projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of supply chain management, strong project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results.

Job Responsibilities:
• Foster a learning organization, recognizing coaching opportunities and associate satisfaction.
• Develop a high-performance team to achieve superior results.
• Drive accountability for PM resources and serves as a subject matter expert.
• Oversee the resource pool of project managers and ensures utilization, effectiveness, and alignment among PM resources.
• Oversee the identification and documentation of client and contracted technology deliverables and specific requirements while communicating said requirements to the IT teams.
• Acts as a liaison with business/process owners and other groups to coordinate the delivery of information technology solutions to the business.
• Assist in overseeing and defining the implementation of projects.
• Define and oversee effective project management methodologies, tools, and processes in both waterfall and agile methodologies.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Release Planning and Coordination:
    • Coordinate with project managers and scrum masters to ensure that all efforts align to the release schedule
    • Develop and maintain the ERP release schedule, ensuring all releases are well-planned and align with the organization's objectives.
    • Coordinate release activities across multiple teams, including development, QA, IT, business analysts, and external vendors.
    • Identify and manage dependencies and risks associated with ERP releases to ensure smooth rollouts.
  • Release Execution and Management:
    • Lead the execution of ERP software releases, ensuring all steps are completed in the correct sequence and according to established timelines.
    • Oversee release validation, testing, and deployment, ensuring functionality meets requirements and user expectations.
    • Coordinate with change management to communicate updates and ensure end-users are prepared for new releases or updates.
Work Experience:
• 5-10 years of related job experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
• Experienced in providing leadership to others regarding work related systems, processes, and challenges.
• Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong planning and organization skills are required.

Education:
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
