Job Title: Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing administrative support, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and experience in a mental health or social services setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and manage meeting room bookings.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Maintain organized records of client information and update internal databases.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Support the team with special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Work
  • OR
    One of the following equivalents:
    • Associate's degree in a related field and minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
    • 4 years of related work experience in a mental health agency or social services environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a mental health or social services agency.
  • Familiarity with basic office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
