Principal/Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete a DIR (daily inspection report) summarizing all activities within their assigned segment
- Performs an off-site inspection at manufacturer/producer's location whenever necessary
- Responsible for materials acceptance: verifies delivery, inspects materials upon arrival, determines exact quantity, understands and verifies compliance with the material certifications provided
- Inspection of pipes when the inside diameter allows it
- Takes depth measurements of concrete on a bridge deck
- Site contact in any quality matter for the construction team
- Quality representation at toolbox meetings and construction workshops
