JOB SUMMARY
Support the Asset Manager in an efficient and professional manner. Provides administrative and clerical support to the
Asset manager. Assisting with making choices about supplier sourcing, procurement, and vendor negotiations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned.
* Assist and support Asset Manager.
* Confirm and expedite factory purchase orders.
* Maintain/update purchase orders.
* Maintaining cordial working relationships with vendors and supervising vendor activities.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School degree, or equivalent, some college preferred but not required.
Experience in Logistics, Purchase and Supply, Business Administration, or related fields.
2+ years of experiences in a purchasing position.
In-depth knowledge of purchasing functions, inventory, and supply management systems.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

* Must be able to report to assigned office location during scheduled in-office workdays.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Strong organization skills, a good understanding of sourcing and the ability to maintain vendor
relationships.
* Judgement - Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment;
supports and explains reasoning for decisions; includes appropriate people in decision-making
process; makes timely decisions.
* Professionalism -- Approaches others in a tactful manner; reacts well under pressure; accepts
responsibility.
* Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are
covered when absent; arrives at meetings and appointments on time.
* Dependability -- Follows instructions, responds to management direction; takes responsibility
for own actions; keeps commitments; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person
with an alternate plan.
* Quality -- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote
quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.
* Adaptability -- Adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands;
changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays,
or unexpected events.
* Planning/Organizing -- Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; develops
realistic action plans.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use fax machines, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers and customers. WORKING CONDITIONS:
Position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work.)
