SARSTEDT, a leading manufacturer and distributor of blood collection and medical devices, laboratory consumables and instrumentation, seeks a Production Scheduler for its US Headquarter.
Shift: Day Shift
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

Summary
Responsible for collecting data to plan and prepare production schedules based on inventory levels, capacity utilization, and customer demand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as apparent or required by management.
Creates, sorts and issues shop orders for all production departments with a focus on lean manufacturing. Analyzes inventory levels and sales trends to adjust production of finished and semi-finished parts, with consideration of equipment utilization, personnel requirements and warehouse inventories.
Closely monitors back orders and actively works to prevent them.
Works closely with production and production-supporting departments.
Prepares monthly production, inventory, and capacity reports.
Qualifications
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, affiliates and customers.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software, Microsoft Word Processing software. Experience with any ERP software and AS/400 preferred.
Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Education and/or Experience
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field from a two or four year college or technical school; and a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
