Position Summary:

An industry leader in the live entertainment industry is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team. This position will have the opportunity to work closely with the Controller and be promoted internally.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, salaries, benefits, and deductions.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and other pay adjustments based on company policies and applicable laws.
  • Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposit notifications.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and discrepancies..
  • Reconcile payroll reports and prepare documentation for audits.
  • Manage and administer benefits deductions, garnishments, and other withholdings.
  • Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree is a plus
