Volt is immediately hiring for an Order Picker in Carson, CA

As an Order Picker you will:

Maintain/Operate warehouse equipment including, forklift pallet jacks, hand truck; Perform general labor as needed, moving product throughout warehouse

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pulling items from inventory stock to prepare for shipping
• Sit-down forklift experience a must.
• Shrink-wrapping breakable items prior to packing for shipment
• Stocking and restocking inventory
• Ensuring assigned batch and inventory lists are accurate
• Following safety guidelines when pulling and packing items for shipment and using operational equipment
• Inspecting items for damage prior to packing for shipment
• Inputting inventory information into warehouse or distribution center databases

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have experience working with forklift, pallet movers, drum dollies and carts

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and consistently lift 40 - 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Shift & Schedule: Monday through Friday 7am-3:45pm

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
