Basic Job Functions:

The Product Buyer is responsible for coordinating, managing, and executing the purchasing of various miscellaneous products for Nucor Building Systems. Additionally, this position manages the administrative duties of the Purchasing department, which include scanning, filing, phone back up and other administrative duties. Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, coordinating on time deliveries, processing routings, managing cycle counts, reconciling invoice and billing discrepancies, and backing-up other Purchasing Teammates.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma
• 1 year of Purchasing/Supply Chain Management experience
• Applied knowledge and practice using Microsoft Office, Excel and Word documents

Preferences:

• 2 or 4 year B.S. or B.A. degree
• Familiar with D365 software
• Knowledge of metal building components
