Role Overview

We are looking for a Component Sales Coordinator to deliver exceptional customer service and drive success within our quality service team.

Basic Job Functions

• Order Management: Receive and generate accurate component orders for builders/customers in a timely fashion.

• Customer Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong, profitable relationships with builders and customers.

• Order Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.

• Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement pricing and sales strategies to boost volume and profitability in the components department.

• Procurement Coordination: Work with purchasing teams and external vendors to manage buyout items as needed.

• Contract Execution: Prepare clear and detailed contracts, including scope-of-work take-offs, based on technical drawings, specifications, and related documents.

• Solution Delivery: Leverage Nucor standard parts and details to provide effective customer solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft programs, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• At least two-years prior metal building and/or similar construction experience.
• Prior experience in customer service and/or direct customer interaction and coordination.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US (Nucor will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future).

Preferred Skills

• Prior Technical Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction, or Engineering related fields.
• Prior experience and/or training with CAD software.
• Prior Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) experience in one or more of the following areas; Detailing, Estimating, Sales, Project Management and/or erection.
