Responsibilities
Location: West Palm Beach, Fl 33406 (This is a 100% onsite position)
1710 Belvedere Rd, West Palm Beach, FL 33406
Position Type: Salary + Commission.
Compensation: $104,000 - $115,000 + Commission (Based on experience, local market expertise).
Title: National Director of Event Sales (National Director of Sales, National Sales Manager).

Job Purpose
The National Director of Event Sales will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Drive Shack's event sales operations across our four locations. This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing and empowering the Sales team, including Directors of Sales, Event Sales Managers, and Sales Coordinators. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams, implementing innovative strategies to drive business growth, and cultivating strong partnerships. This role demands a dynamic leader capable of both strategic vision and hands-on execution to maximize revenue, enhance customer relationships, and ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the event sales teams across four Drive Shack locations, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and sales targets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Directors of Sales, Event Sales Managers, and Sales Coordinators, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Design and execute innovative sales strategies to generate new business opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and drive consistent revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and operations teams to develop integrated campaigns and promotions that support sales initiatives.
  • Establish clear sales goals and performance metrics, regularly evaluating team performance to ensure objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, vendors, and strategic partners, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and onboarding of top-tier sales professionals, ensuring the team is equipped with the tools and knowledge to succeed.
  • Analyze sales trends, performance data, and market dynamics to refine strategies and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring the Drive Shack experience is consistently represented across all interactions and marketing materials.
  • Manage sales budgets effectively, optimizing resources to achieve maximum ROI while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
  • Report regularly to executive leadership on sales performance, strategic initiatives, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (Preferred but not required).
  • 7+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a focus on event sales and team management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical acumen, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making and improve sales outcomes.
  • Experience in the hospitality, entertainment, or event sales industries is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Tripleseat, etc.)
Working Conditions
  • This is a full-time position based across multiple locations, requiring occasional travel to Drive Shack sites.
  • The role demands flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client meetings and events.
  • A mix of on-site leadership and strategic oversight, balancing time between the corporate office and Drive Shack locations.
  • Must possess the ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure, demonstrating effective problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Occasional physical activity may be required, depending on event needs and on-site responsibilities.
