Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
The Judge Group is seeking an MEP Engineer for a fabrication company in the Commerce, TX area.
COMPENSATION: $90k - 120k
LOCATION: Onsite
RELOCATION: Provided for the right candidate
MUST HAVE: 3+ years of experience designing and developing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
MUST BE: A US Citizen or a Green Card holder living in the US currently
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing and overseeing the implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems including generator rooms, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems.
- Review and analyze specifications and designs of MEP systems
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems into the overall shelter design
- Perform calculations to ensure structurally safe projects involving steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
- Provide professional consultations on repairs, designs, and construction
- Participate in project meetings and take an active role in resolving concerns and solving problems
- Perform construction administration, including reviewing submittals, responding to contractor requests for information (RFIs), and performing site visits to resolve construction issues
- Assist in analyzing the critical path schedule for design and construction projects
- Prepare, review, and approve project documents including building and systems designs, estimates, specifications, bid packages, technical and engineering correspondence, and reports
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
