Location: Murfreesboro, TN
Description: Judge Healthcare is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to assist provider(s) with patient care.

This is a full time, day shifts, and permanent opportunity! Offering competitive salary, benefits, and PTO for the qualified candidate selected!

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Fulfill patient care responsibilities as assigned, assist doctor with patient care.
• Escort patient to and from exam room, help patient prepare for exam.
• Organize patient flow according to protocol
• Assure smooth patient flow
• Procedure tray, instrument, and equipment set-up according to instructions.
• Able to numb patient as directed by the provider.
• Prepare path/lab specimens per protocol
• Review pathology and lab results with patients per provider's instructions.
• Document visit in EMR clearly and accurately as directed.
• Phone prescriptions and refills to pharmacy according per provider's instructions.
• Clean, sterilize, and inventory all medical equipment and instruments.
• Maintain medication samples and discard out-of-date supplies.
• Upkeep and cleanliness of exam rooms, supply cabinets, and drawers always well stocked.
• Knowledgeable and compliant of HIPPA privacy standards.
• Obtaining preauthorization for medications required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Completion of Medical Assistant courses
• TN Certified Medical Assistant
