RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client is seeking an experienced Marketing RFP Proposal Writer. This is a remote position; candidates will need to reside on the East Coast preferably near the Boston MA, area.Summary:As a Proposal Writer you will work with teams to develop and deliver new business proposals, requests for information, due diligence questionnaires and related materials, typically with efficient turnaround times.This includes the following tasks:
  • Marketing RFP Proposal Writer will effectively coordinate and manage the RFP/RFI and DDQ process including time management, prioritization, preparation, production, and distribution
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, coordinating resources, and synthesizing information in order to clearly articulate a winning strategy, compelling solution and substantial themes
  • Meet internal and external deadlines and provide support to team members on proposals and projects
  • Research and verify accuracy of information through company resources
  • Build and maintain situational awareness of proposal subject matter and developments within the businesses we support
  • Contribute to the team knowledge base
  • Remain consistently aware of and use company and work group's preferred styles, writing techniques and grammar principles to support company branding
  • Maintain up-to-date records for proposal filing, tracking, and reporting purposes
  • As a Marketing RFP Proposal Writer, you will collaborate with design resources on such items as customized graphics, infographics and covers
  • Work with and provide instructions to support staff for proposal production and shipping
  • Identify opportunities to streamline the RFP process and maximize efficiency
  • Additional marketing projects as warranted to support overall marketing objectives


REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least two years of bid management, proposal writing, or related experience preferred, particularly with professional services firms; Candidates with less experience may also be considered
  • Eager and willing to embrace AI tools and applications
  • Experience with using Responsive (formerly RFPIO) to complete RFPs
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality; excellent organizational, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills; A genuine passion for the English language
  • Data analytic skills
  • Ability to synthesize information from RFPs, documents, and other sources
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and cooperate with consultants, support staff and team members
  • -Can-do- attitude and flexibility; Ability to respond quickly and creatively to changing requirements
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively amid ambiguity and competing demands
  • Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technology, as needed
  • Experience and facility with Microsoftx Office Suite, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook and other core business and productivity tools; Excellent command of Word as well as working ability in PowerPoint and Excel; Familiarity with proposal-automation software
  • Responsive (formerly RFPIO)
  • Relevant experience, particularly with writing or editing in a corporate environment as part of a team and/or transferable skills are desirable; Experience in a professional services environment is a plus


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
