What You'll Do:
- Assist with updating marketing benchmarks, processes, systems, reporting, and related documentation.
- Gather, analyze, clean, and organize data used in digital marketing and communication efforts.
- Research and planning assistance for a variety of campaign work that spans all CALSTART's activities and initiatives.
- Additional opportunities to learn as marketing and communication tasks are assigned, depending on your interest and skills.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing or Communications.
- Willingness to move in the fast-paced marketing environment.
- Strong time management skills.
- A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box to complex situations.
- Be able to measure the effectiveness of strategies through analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to simplify complex topics in a friendly and approachable manner.
- Ability to work with diverse teams.
- You have knowledge of / experience with some of the following areas and programs: social media (Buffer, Hootsuite, native applications), email marketing/CRMs (MailChimp, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud), website analytics (Google Analytics 4, LogRocket), digital advertising (Feathr, Google Ads).
$16 - $21 an hour
CALSTART values transparency and strives to provide as much information regarding compensation as possible. Pay for this role will typically be from $16-$21 per hour as we determine pay based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, internal equity and other factors relevant to the job.
