Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Ability to lead, coordinate and motivate direct reports to reach full potential
  • Ability to present to small and large audiences
  • Ability to organize work and set priorities
  • Knowledge of global fishing and seabed uses
  • Knowledge of cable engineering and installation
  • Ability to research and report concisely on current maritime activities
  • Experience in direct liaison with commercial fishermen
  • Skills with diverse software including MS Office and ArcGIS
  • Knowledge of navigational software is a plus
  • Domestic and international travel is required
  • Language skills in at least one Latin-based (Spanish, Portuguese and/or French), and at least one Asia-Pacific language (Japanese and Mandarin or Cantonese) Gulf Arabic is a plus
  • Education Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in Marine Related or Engineering field
