Basic Job Functions:

The Logistics Coordinator II will be responsible logistical alignment, reporting and analysis of NTS & NLG processes and systems. The coordinator will serve as a business unit subject matter expert for the implementation of our Logistics strategy while providing full support to the daily transportation site teams. Must possess the ability to take on ad-hoc reporting projects and serve as the Logistics & Transportation support lead for our business.

This position will require travel to production facilities on an as-needed basis.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 years progressive experience in a transportation and logistics role Experience with carrier management
• Experience with utilizing ERP systems for reporting and data analysis Experience using dashboard management tools
• Experience with detailed load planning and execution
• Experience leading teams or projects
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience working with D365 & Carrierpoint TMS
• 5 years progressive experience with logistics management & tracking Experience in manufacturing planning & scheduling
• Experience in DOT Compliance
• Experience creating transportation management dashboards
• Experience with process documentation and process improvement Understanding of how to impact profitability through logistics management
