Job Description: The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, College of Arts and Sciences, Loyola University Chicago (LUC), is accepting applications for two three-year, full-time, non-tenure-track positions at the rank of Lecturer, to begin in the fall 2019. The initial appointment begins a two-year probationary period with the possibility of renewal following successful review. The successful candidates will teach four undergraduate courses per semester, ranging from beginning to high intermediate level Spanish language courses, and will also be required to serve as coordinators for one language-level: SPAN 101-102, SPAN 103-104, or SPAN 250-251.
Qualifications: M.A. required; Ph.D. is desirable. Record of excellence in teaching the Spanish language at the levels indicated. Experience in the innovative use of technology in the classroom,
