Apply now for the position of Lean Intergration Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for acting as a Healthineers Production System Expert for the Mishawaka team. To support and initiate HPS activities, facilitate Trainings and Improvement events and drive structural optimizations to support the operational business of the Site.

Additionally, you will Co-ordinate and coach a high-functioning project program consisting of process engineers and support group members, leading the factory project governance program and doing the physical implementation of the Lean Continuous Improvement projects for the Supply Chain, QA/QC and Fac/Eng. Departments to deliver improved results in Safety, Cost, Quality, delivery, and Customer Service . The role will report into HPS (Healthineers Performance System) Team Lead.

Your role:

  • Highly experienced expert in HPS/Lean Methods and key processes and therefore the determining factor for the success of HPS penetration inside the Mishawaka factory
  • Closely align with the HPS Leader
  • Executes improvement events in alignment with Teams of respective sub-unit
  • Facilitates HPS core method trainings
  • Identifies and supports execution of local change measures, aligned with management and HPS Leader
  • Drives Benchmarking and best practice exchange across the organization
  • Site project program coordinator to support the site Productivity Lead by tracking and reporting all site productivity initiatives
  • Create and manage project scope, schedule and budget where applicable
  • Assure that all product and project deliverables (Safety, quality, cost, delivery and revenue) are met
  • Identify critical decisions and drive the decision-making process
  • Schedule and lead meetings to coordinate the inter-departmental project activities; including those necessary to resolve project issues
  • Manage project communications to all stakeholders (project teams, functional managers, internal and external customers, and senior management), including meeting minutes, monthly updates, communications meetings, and phase reviews
  • Improve visual management and KPI reporting systems to improve reaction time and effective management of results
  • Embrace Digital solutions to improve the project management process and to drive efficiency within the organization
  • Use Lean and six sigma methods such as Structured Problem Solving or Value Stream Mapping to lead groups through analysis and improvement planning
  • Act as an internal consultant, coach, and trainer to actively shape the future of our business
Skills:
  • Can analyze data and identify improvement areas and approaches through lean methods, statistical analysis or Six Sigma techniques and can guide teams using these improvement methods
  • Have an understanding and experience with supply chain planning, material management, quality control and production processes
  • The ability to facilitate and work with teams working in different locations
  • An excellent communicator that gives clear direction
  • Past experience being part of a diverse and intercultural workforce
  • Strong experience managing projects through to completion successfully

Your expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited intuition preferred, with at least 5 years' experience in a related field
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with the medical field being a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to independently function in a changing, high-impact position, with deadline and resource constraints
  • Someone that can implement the Lean Toolkit with a visible positive impact to the facility
  • Proven track record of working with all levels of an organization, from production operators through to middle and senior management
  • Experience in Project Management Software, preferably Microsoft Project
  • Six Sigma qualification a plus
  • Willing to travel up at 10% to vendor and other Siemens Healthineers sites

This role is based at our Mishawaka, IN location and is a full-time onsite role.
