Are you a Deburring Operator? We are looking for a Lead Deburring Operator for a Direct Hire role in Santa Ana, CA. The role is working for a manufacturing company that is experiencing growth in Orange County, CA. The role is 1st shift and pays up to $23/hr.
Responsibilities:
? Deburr sharp edges of parts according to blueprint specifications and customer requirements
? Deburr parts using hand tools, deburring tools, files, others
? Work from work order, samples, drawing, written and verbal instruction. ? Consistently monitor quality of product to maintain quality standards.
? Identify parts for inspection - as required (part of the overall quality control process).
? Knowledge of measuring equipment (caliper and micrometer)
? Knowledge of different types of equipment to use depending of the type and amount of deburring required
? Able to lead a team
? Train others in the proper use of the necessary equipment
? Set goals for each of the members of the team and support as required
Essential Functions Physical Requirements:
? Physical demands (lifting up to 25lbs) when needed
? Pushing up to 50lbs when needed
? Loading and unloading material (25lbs)
? Walking about 10% ? Stationed about 85% ? Knelling, squatting, bending, twisting when needed 5% VALENCIA Job Description
LEAD Skills:
? Mathematical Knowledge
? Ability to read, analyze and interpret common instructions
? Detail Oriented
? Must be able to use precision measuring tools (micrometer, calipers, etc)
? Strong communication skills
? Leadership management ? Conflict resolution
Qualifications:
? High school diploma or GED
? Understanding of production and manufacturing process
? Detail- oriented
? Willing to work late, early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary
? Team player
? Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform
? 5years of deburring experience
? Experience leading a team or equivalent training
? 5S/ Lean/ six Sigma experience or equivalent training
