Duties: We are seeking a helpful, efficient, and organized individual to join our very collaborative laboratory, which studies epigenetic regulation in the maintenance of blood-forming stem cells and immune cell biology. Primary duties include maintenance of the mouse colony, performing PCR genotyping, preparing media and maintaining cell lines, as well as contributing to the general lab organization. In addition, this person will assist researchers with their experiments and learn advanced cellular and molecular techniques, including cell culture, cell transfection and transduction, flow cytometry, western blotting, reverse transcription PCR, CRISPR/Cas9, and other experimental approaches
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree with background in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or related disciplines and 0 to 1 year of lab experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) are required. Prior laboratory experience, especially working with mouse models, is preferred.
